Do It Yourself: Tinted Moisturizer

Ever wonder why it's so hard to find just the right foundation and concealer? Mostly because of the different skin tones and complexions. You might have the same colour tone of skin, as the foundation, but the brightness or the texture might be something that doesn't  look natural on you, mostly because it isn't your skin's complexion. That's why many people resort to tinted moisturizer; because it is light, moisturizing, and still gives you a bit of coverage. It is practically a face cream, bronzer, foundation, concealer, and powder, all in one. Although, it doesn't give as much coverage.

It's especially hard for me, personally, to even find a tinted moisturizer. That's why I created this easy, and inexpensive way to find the PERFECT tinted moisturizer!

Lets start off with what we will  need:

A BB cream that you favourite, and prefer.

(Maybelline; Dream Fresh BB cream)

An old makeup brush, that you are willing

to throw out and get dirty.

(Sephora)

An old and empty container you can open up

(Wipes Dispenser)

A lotion you favourite or prefer.

(SPAresource; Coconut Lotion)

An old cup

(IKEA)

Start off by squeezing the lotion into the cup

(use as much as you want, depending

on how much you want in the end)

Now add in the BB cream.

(Continue adding more and more until

you think it's enough)

Mix it all together using the back of your makeup brush.

(Continue adding as you mix, when you reach your skin tone)

Put your mixture into the container, and spread it around.

This last part is optional, but you have the choice

to spray in some perfume, to get rid of the gross

smell most foundations and BB creams have.

Your tinted moisturizer is complete! It is a very helpful, easy

and healthier way to get coverage and hydrate your skin, rather

than having to buy it!
